We were invited to visit a nomadic family in the country side. They live in a "ger". It is a wood frame covered with heavy felt. They raise goats, sheep and yak. They milk the animals and sell the products for their living. They pack everything up four times a year and move to better pasture for their herds. Notice the solar panel, the satellite dish and the motorcycle.
