Just in case anyone ever asks...this is how you spell Chinggis Khann. (not Genghis Khan...) Picture from our front window. They wouldn't know to whom you were referring if you spelled it Genghis Khan.

This is inovative cooking. I didn't have an 8x8 or 9x9 pan so a little tin foil held by a knife worked just fine. The brownies were wonderful. Thanks, Noel.

Great Day!

At the top we sang, "High on a Mountain Top" and then read the Dedicatory Prayer.
We were there at the same time of the day as Elder Maxwell. It was a very moving experience.

As we got closer to the top we saw some workers chipping the ice. Here is Elder Ford waiting for me..as usual.

The missionaries just returned from the Philipines. We took them to Ziasan Hill where Elder Maxwell dedicated Mongolia to the preaching of the gospel. It was freezing. Notice Sister Eliason is ready for the weather.
The stairs were so icy. They hadn't been scraped. You had to hold on for your life. There are 100 stairs.

These are the Relief Society Sisters cleaning the chairs at the church, getting ready for conference. The little gal in the pink is Enkhmaa, one of my translators.

These pictures were taken outside the backside of the Parliament building the day we went to the President's Council on Alcoholism.

Our dear Elder Nymbayar...we love this young man. Read my journal letter for his story

Elder Ford and Munkhbold outside our apartment complex. Don't you love his deel and hat?

Sister Clark and I went with Batbold to a factory that makes shirts. We have to dress the Mongolian missionaries that serve and we go through a lot of white shirts. We were trying to find the place with the best price. This factory was so interesting, piles and piles of shirts...and so many workers and machines.

There are a lot of "interesting" sculputres here. This one was very "interesting". This picture was taken on the day that I got pick pocketed, but I survived and learned.Posted by Picasa
Farewell dinner for the Choibalsan Anderson's at our favorite Chinese Restaurant.

This was the day of Bolor-Erdene's setting apart as a missionary. There were so many people crowded into President's office.

Doesn't she look like a missionary?
This is her proud mother.

We had six missionaries return from the Manila MTC. This is Sister Bolor-Erdene, who was a member of our branch at Chingeltei. She is a very good pianist. She has also been a seminary teacher for four years. She graduated from high school at 17 and started teaching seminary the next fall. She is amazing.
