This was the main course from beginning to end. The day before they had killed a sheep. They had saved the "best" for us. It included: liver, kidney, brain, lung, intestines filled with fat, stomach filled with blood and boiled, and tripe. The honored guest (the director who was their friend) did the carving. It was carved into little bowls and passed around. If you didn't want any you just smelled and smiled. I did taste the liver and it was very good. Blaine wouldn't try anything. The more fat there was on anything the more the Mongolians loved it. No wonder they die young.

Dinner is served!
