There are many typical "gers" in this picture. They are the round buildings. Familes will build a frame structure and live in it when the weather is warmer, but when the cold winter comes they live in the felt "ger" because it is easier to heat. Most homes like these are heated with coal and sticks. Often the govenrment will give you land if you fence it and build a structure on it.
