This is Elder Ford's square meter greenhouse. One day last week it was 90 degrees in there.
This week the wind blew so hard that it blew over. Then it snowed!!! Oh, the weather in Mongolia.

This was one of the highlights of our mission. Sumyabayar was baptized
by Elder Wilson on Friday night. She had several of the lessons in our home.

Some of Jay and Ga's friends rented a Karioke room and gave them a party for their wedding. It was really fun. Everyone gave their advice. The friends had a copy of the Manilla Temple framed for them. I had never been to a Kariloke place before. It was really , really fun. President Clark sang several songs. The other RM's were great.

This is Jiguur and his new wife Ga. They were married on Thursday. In Mongolia you have to be married by the state. They don't recognize marriage by the Church. They will be going to the temple as soon as they can. J was our secretary when we came. He trained us and has helped us through a really rought beginning. He is a great young man. We wish them every happiness.

Ariuynstesteg and her dad. She is four years old. She is one we could bring home.

This is Ariuntsetseg. Her father has graduated from the Addiction Recovery Class. Her mother left them when he was drinking. She is a very smart little girl. She was repeating every word after me. The man in the picture is Buya our accountant.

Look carefully at the men crossing the street. He just put his arm out and stopped all the traffic. We've seen it all.

This is truly the "yellow brick road". This is for blind people so they can stay on the sidewalk more easily. Isn't that ingenious? There is a wonderul walking path next to the river.

I thought this was hillarious. At the Church they have posted these signs above the water fountains. They say, "This water is filtered. Do not use this water to brush your teeth, wash your hands or your face. "

Senior couples at Mongolian Restaurant and Pub. Fords, Clarkjargals, Shropes, Lassons..

For our "Easter" dinner the couples went out to the Mongolian Restaurant and Pub on Saturday night. It was like eating in a museum. There were all sorts of antique Mongolian atifacts, all displayed under glass. It was amazing. There is also a "ger" that you can rent to eat in. The food was really good as well.

This is what you call a "close encounter". There are open man holes all over the city.
When we parked the car we had no idea it was there. We got out and we feeling very
thankful we had said our prayers that morning. Getting out without falling in was
fun!

The Sister in Chingeltei Branch have had several bapitsms the last while. In this family they baptized the mother and now the teenage daughter has joined her.

Some of our English students. We had an Easter Egg hunt and they had to figure out
the "secret message". "Wishing you a Happy Easter."

Elder Ford can't leave the farm in the country. He is planting his square meter garden. We bought the seeds at a local garden store. We paid $3.00 for a small package of zuccini seeds....We are really going to like zuccini this year.

We went to Family Home Evening with the Returned Missionaries. (Elder Ford qualifies).
They had died eggs. I had made Resurrection Eggs and they used them for part of their activity. They are a great group of young people.
