Part of our day's tour was called 13th Century. It was a series of villages that were set up how they were in Chinggis Khaan's day.

This first village was the "man" village. This was where the warriors were. It also served as sort of a pony express. These villages were about 20 miles apart. Horses were kept and as the message riders came they would exchange horses and continue on their way. It took about a week to go from Europe and across Asia.
